Coming Home to Alila Manggis
Last month, Alila Manggis celebrated the homecoming of Chef Nyoman Santika, who now heads the talented kitchen team as the Executive Chef. He was part of the hotel’s opening crew in varied capacities before venturing out to Amandari Ubud, and onto international waters in Turks & Cacos and Amanyara, before returning to Alila Ubud. Mixing it up with De Kuyper
Hard Rock Cafe recently hosted a mixology workshop for De Kuyper Royal Distillers, the world’s number one producer of liqueurs. De Kuyper ‘Global Flying Ambassador’, Mr Peet Warmerdam, made a dramatic entrance and wowed the crowd with his entertaining and informative workshop; shaking, mixing and blending in a frenzy of cocktail making accompanied by a running commentary of helpful bar tips and tricks. The participants were captivated by his skill and the eventful workshop in which he presented some of his international award winning cocktails, and shared some of the secrets that have made him a cocktail legend..

Morning Ritual at Westin
